Drywall repair & patching · Atlanta & Metro Atlanta, GA
We fix the damage that builds up in a lived-in house: doorknob holes, nail pops, settling cracks over doorways, ceiling stains from an old leak, and seams where the tape has let go. A Tool Box Pros handyman cuts back to solid board, sets the patch, rebuilds the texture around it and leaves it primed, with the price settled before the first cut.
What we do
Most wall and ceiling damage in a home falls into one of these four jobs.
Anchor and nail holes get filled; fist-sized and doorknob holes get a backed patch or a new piece of board screwed to blocking, so the repair doesn't flex when it's pressed.
Hairline cracks above doors and windows and popped screw heads are opened up, re-fastened and re-taped.
Once the leak above has been fixed, soft or sagging board is cut out and replaced, and the stain is sealed so it can't bleed through fresh paint.
Smooth, orange peel and knockdown finishes are rebuilt across the patch, so the repair blends in instead of showing as a flat square on a textured wall.
How we work
Send a photo through the form or have us stop by. We check the size of the damage, whether moisture is still behind it, and which texture the wall carries, then give you a price before any work begins.

Damaged board is cut back to solid material and the patch goes in. Joint compound goes on in thin coats, and a deep repair may need a second trip so each coat can dry fully instead of shrinking later.

The repair is sanded, textured and primed so it's ready for paint, or painted to match if you have the leftover can. Drop cloths come up and the dust leaves with us.

Why homeowners choose us
A wall patch is a small job, and we still treat it as one worth doing properly.

The quote
Drywall repair is priced by the job, after we've seen the damage in person or in clear photos. You get the number before work starts. The price we agree is the price, unless you add work or we find something hidden — then we stop and agree any change with you first.
Good to know
Have a question about your job? Call or text (770) 746-7207 and we'll talk it through with you before you book anything.
On smooth walls and common textures, a well-feathered, primed patch should disappear once it's painted. Older or unusual textures are harder to match exactly, and we'll tell you at the estimate if we expect a difference you might notice.
Yes, once the source has been fixed. We don't repair roofs or plumbing, so the leak has to be stopped first; if the board is still wet or the stain keeps spreading, a patch would only fail again.
Flood damage across whole rooms, mold behind the wall, sagging that points to a structural problem, or hanging new drywall throughout a room is beyond what we do. We'll say so plainly at the estimate rather than take on work that needs a different trade.
